Regardless of what kind of
relationship You're into with
someone,either friendship,or
romantic, courtesy is definitely a
vital ingredient. We tend to take
people We're intimate with
forgranted,yet we expect them to
stay committed and not feel bad
about it... Courtesy is going into
extinction in our society like
imagine a guy pushing a gal off
all in the name of rush
hour,better still imagine a lady
not knocking before entering a
guy's room let alone waiting for a
'COME IN' before entering...ewh!!!
Using words like Please,just one
mins,excuse me,hold on a sec
Pls...etc help earn respect. Never
put someone on hold just to talk
to another without excusing
yourself from the first party.
Never open the door to a room
without knocking and waiting for
a 'come in' before entering,knock
at the toilet's and bathroom's
door to confirm if anyone is
inside,don't just barge into
rooms. Learn to say Pls when
asking for people's favour,sorry to
say this,I've discovered that some
ladies now a days are very poor
when it comes to saying Pls when
asking for favour especially when
It's from a guy. It's not Good...
Here are few examples of
Simple,but important courtesy.
>Knock and wait for a 'come in'
before entering any room.
>When you yarn,cover your
mouth.
>Say Pls when asking for people's
favour.
>When you see people for the
first time in the day, greet first
before starting any discussion.
>Excuse yourself from a previous
discussion before jumping into
another. Don't put someone on
hold to discuss with another.
>Say thank you for every favour
shown,either small or big.
>Switch off your phone in the
church or put it on vibration if
you know you can resist the
temptation of attending to calls
during service,since it is not
good to put someone on hold to
attend to another and picking
calls during service simply means
putting God on hold to talk to
man.
>When complimented,say 'thank
you'... Etc. Try it out and you'll
be amazed with the outcome. Pls
Let's orientate our society about
courtesy and I hope this post
have set another reminder....
With care,Princephelar (da entatainer)
